What Else Exists
This page comes after the course and after the appendix, and it is separate from both on purpose. Nothing in the ten modules pointed here. This is a list of what else is available, for anyone who wants it.
The Course
The ten modules and forty lessons are free and stay free. There is no reduced version, nothing was held back for a paid tier, and there is no upgrade. Everything the course teaches is in what has already been read.
It lives at PeaceCourse.org.
The exercises from all forty lessons are collected in one file, in order, formatted for writing in. It contains no teaching. Everything explaining the exercises is in the modules themselves. It is there because some people prefer paper for this material, and because the sealed items in particular are easier to keep track of on paper than in a notes app. It is free and it is optional.
The Exam
There is a comprehension exam on this site. Forty questions, four per module, roughly one per lesson, marked in your browser. The pass mark is thirty-two of forty, retakes are unlimited, and no score is shown, only whether you passed. If you pass, you can put your name on a certificate and print it.
Two disclosures.
The first is technical. The answer key is in the page source. Anyone who wants to read it can, in about a minute, and no amount of engineering would change that on a site with no accounts and no server behind it. That is said here rather than hidden, because a test that presents itself as tamper proof while not being tamper proof would be its own small dishonesty.
The second matters more. The exam is not the point. It measures whether you read carefully, which is worth something and is not worth much. It cannot measure whether you can stay in a hard conversation, or catch contempt in yourself before it leaves your mouth, or tell a movement's real pillars from its loud ones. The work that comes closest to measuring that is the final assessment at the end of Module Ten, which you write for yourself, submit to nobody, and show to no one. It carries no grade because there is nobody to grade it, and because a grade would change what it is for. If you are going to do one of the two, do that one.
What the certificate certifies is deliberately narrow: that a named person passed the forty item exam on a date, and that the exam tests close reading of the ten modules. It is not a professional credential and does not qualify anyone as a mediator or a facilitator. Lesson 2.4 said as much about the course as a whole, and nothing here revises it.
Nothing Else
There is no membership, no community, no coaching, no retreat, no advanced course, no workbook for sale, and no book. Nothing here is sold and there is nothing to buy.
If any of that changes it will be listed here, on this page, after the appendix, and not inside the teaching.
